Barclays Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena and home of the Brooklyn Mets. Externally, the arena's shape features three articulated bands with features a glass curtain wall covered by a "latticework" composed of 12,000 pre-weathered steel panels engineered and constructed by ASI Limited/SHoP Construction meant to evoke the image of Brooklyn's brownstones.The oculus extends over a 5,660-square-foot section of the plaza outside of the main arena entrance with an irregularly shaped display screen looping the interior face of the oculus.
